Receptionist/Admin Assistant Job Opportunity

Days: Fridays (ideally with flexibility to cover extra if required) 

At Jayne Sharpham Naturopathics, we specialise in naturopathic and nutritional medicine health care, offering a compassionate environment for our clients. Our team is dedicated to making a meaningful difference in health and well-being, and every detail matters. As a receptionist, you will be the first point of contact, ensuring that each client feels valued, heard, and well taken care of. Your ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a calming presence will be essential to the smooth running of the clinic.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet clients with warmth and empathy, creating a welcoming and supportive experience from the moment they arrive.
  • Manage appointment scheduling with accuracy and clarity, coordinating multiple appointments and ensuring smooth transitions.
  • Handle phone calls, emails, and client inquiries with professionalism, ensuring all details are addressed promptly.
  • Maintain accurate client records with high attention to detail and confidentiality including filing. 
  • Keep the clinic environment organized, ensuring everything is prepared and ready for each client’s visit.
  • Provide administrative support to the team, handling a variety of tasks simultaneously to ensure the clinic runs efficiently.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, with a natural ability to make clients feel heard and cared for.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively, managing several responsibilities at once without compromising quality
  • A calm, approachable nature, capable of handling a busy environment. 
  • A focus on providing reliable, attentive service, ensuring that each client has a positive experience.
  • Previous customer service or reception experience is helpful, but a willingness to learn and grow is just as important.
  • A genuine passion for health and wellness, and a desire to support others in their well-being journey.
  • Ability to work independently and manage tasks without direct supervision.
  • Possible booking experience or ability to learn data entry.
